My 21st Birthday!!!!

Yesterday it was my 21st Birthday. I thought I will studying at the library instead of celebrating and was very upset because of it. Fortunately,it happened that my friends came there and took me out. From the one side I was soo happy not to stay at the library on my the only once in my life 21st B'day but at the same time I was tormented by my conscience, cause I needed to finish my assignments. Finally my friends convinced me that B'day is a special day, thus we had a party until 6 am. And I want to say that u never know what's gonna happen next, that is why I was very surprised when those from who I didn't expect congratulated me and what's more interesting congratulated me first.  I was very pleased))))))) Thank you guys for this party! xoxox

Shisha event.

Today I woke up too late. But the evening weather was awesome!!!! It was so warm,I can even say hot. I like hot weather. Here,in the UK, we don't have enough warm sunny days. So I enjoyed the evening a lot. In addition,my friend Dana has organized a shisha event for her Business Course project . It was amazing, she put a lot of ottomans and some tables outside, also there were tea and other drinks, some snacks like cookies and etc and definetly shisha. I liked the point that she employed a special guy who did shisha for us. I think Dana is terrific girl, cause she didn't sleep all night, she was studying in a library because of  the coming soon exams and on the next day she organized that event. So she didn't sleep 24 hours. Craaazy. However I'm proud that I have a such friend!

1) First picture she is with her classm8 on the graduation ceremony.

2) Second picture she is with her friend

3) Last picture she is with her DAD!!!

New Experience;)

Had an interview by phone with an Englishman from London first time in my life!!!! Was so nervous! He works in a broadcasting company GlobeCast, which was first who send tv satellite to the sky. He works as an IT manager there for 8 years already, I asked him questions about his career prospect, his job, his schedule, how he finds time for everything and about the olympic games which they gonna film this summer in london. As I already said I was nervous, but he proved to be extremely nice guy! He told me everything and gave me nice long answers (500 word for each out of six questions), so I recorded 30 mins of our interview. Great experience!

Desperate Housewives

Ahhh my favourite series finished forever! Desperate Housewives finished it last season and will never start again. I started to watch it when I was 17, and now I'm 21! I grew up on this series! I think it is more than just a stupid show,it represents the life how it is.  Intrigues, gossips, pranks and joys small and large all of these take place in the life of everyone. And the way they overcame it was illuminating. Sometimes they had serious problems but they never give up and those who gave up remained in the eternal memory of spectators because they have already managed to win their hearts.
In the begining I started to watch it because of the beautiful and amazing Eva Longoria, but then gradually fall in love with each actress separately. All the housewives are so different, but so each is good at its.
For example, Bri is a very decent woman. she had so many tests in her life, but she survived. Her son turned out to be gay, her doughter hated her and was a very heard teenager. She lost several husbands and for a long period even all her friends, but she overcame it finally.
And each of them had test, had ups and downs. But continued to move forward.
I think this show can teach a lot and deserves attention.

The summer season has begun.

Long long time we didn't see the sun in this rainy, windy and cold England. I even already used to it. Every morning when I wake up and the sun rays make their way to me through the window,I skrewed up my eyes and want rain to start. But today started such a nice warm weather. I woke up and the sun doesn't hurt me in the eyes as usual, but softly lit my room. I dressed in my favourite light skinny jeans,t-shirt and wore new mocassins. My mood was better than on the days before. I even went to town to eat gladly and wihout lazyness. People were dressed according to summer. Everything seemed more beautiful than usually. At last summer has started!

4) Long-distance relationships

Gambling or predicting?

Do U believe that someone can predict your future? Or in other words do u believe that fortune tellers exist?

My friend said that he believes in astrology but not in those who telling fortune by cards or somehow else. Well fair enough. It is logical. But when u face with it, it is hard not to trust.

When I was 17, I had an experience of the fortune teller. It was an old woman with very piercing eyes which appeared to me as tricky face expression. She was telling fortunes on the rocks. She told me that I'm stupid because I don't know chemistry and that I have weak legs, which actually is true (I mean true only about my legs).

But my friend Devendra explained me that it is all about observation and then they tell u one or two small observations to get u into the confidence. Which is also logical. So according to his theory everything can be explained. But how to understand the moments when they really predict unpredictable things?

When U like someone

When U like someone, what u gonna do? Tell about ur feelings, hide them and pretend that u don't feel anything or... I think it is an interesting topic to think about. That is why I started to ask people about it and that is what they answered.

"It would be sensible to ask the person out only if you feel a connection and if the person is hinting back that he/she likes you. Rejection hurts."-Said my friend Devendra from Mumbai. (22 years old)

"It depends on situation. If she has a boyfriend or I know she doesn't like me, I won't tell her."-Said my friend Hassan. (22 years old)

"I'm not gonna say nothing. Cause if a boy really likes you he says it, If not it means that he doesn't. It is simple. But I as girl not gonna say anything." -Said my girlfriend. (28 years old)

"I'm gonna find a right time and a rigt place. I'm gonna set a good proper plan and tell what I feel"- Rex (23 years old)

"I will try to know does he like me or no. If he likes me, I'll show my feelings,If no , I'll pretend I don't care."- Said my friend Dana (20 years old)

How to get rid of a stalker=D

Hi everyone))))!!!

Today I tell u how to get rid of a stalker. Cause I am proffessional in it. Seriously.
Well do u remeber the guy who was following me in OTM??=D yeah, well hestill keep staring at me every time I met him. But If before he was staring at me like on the one who he adores, so now he staring at me like on a crazy, weird, mad, strange and difficult person)))) How did I achieve it? Well these are the 10 steps of how to become from adorable to ignorable:

1) Don't say Hi!
2) Look at him like a weird person the same as he but 10 times stronger
3) Start to smile madly (like u crazy about him)
4) skream suddenly when he appears on your horizont and run away
5) Fart (always when he is around)
6) Eat garlic bread
7) Say u wanna rape a horse
8) Say something totally ridiculous, which is not aprropriate and is not normal
9) dance like a junky
10) Dont wash ur hair

So hope u will find it useful and say buy to all ur weird fans! x0x0x0 Aika

Evian is not just a water it is a town

Keep working in Adr. This is my second day here. I didn't go to sleep in my accommodation. So I'm still here and continue to know better my new friend Yassin. Yassin is a Frenchman from Evian, a nice town in France which is close to Switzerland. It is interesting to note that the famous and popular all over the world water Evian is taken from this town, that is why it was named so. Also this city is popular because of it mineral water sources and known as a spa town. Yassin says that the major part of its population is older people but have a healthy lifestyle. Also it is quiet expensive,so don;t go there alone as a poor student,go there with ur parents or grandparents ank make sure they enjoy theit time there. Be nice to ur closers. Take care of them, don't be selfish!!!!!! Stop think just about yourself. Oh ok,lets go back to Evian!
There are lots of souvenirs shops with beautiful postcards, cups with your names on it and etc. It might be surprising but they have an italian quisin there rather than traditional french.

How new meetings can help me write a new article

I was trying to finish my article about the party at otm in the adr, more precisely in the computer room. Oh my god it was so cold, i had to wear leman'jacket. Anyway the temperature of the room is not the purpose of this article. It was a classic night, the day to day of student in journalism, but i mert an interesting guy. I thought he was a raper but he wasn't. I thought that because of his hoodie and glasses  and really cool ring. Ed Hardy, Prada, Calvin underwear (don't ask me how i know ^^)...Too much brands on one guy, he really looked like a raper. He was french actually, i learnt a lot of sentences: comment sa va, sa...This language is really sexy! I teached him also some sentences in Russian:  Kak dela? /Horosho...We were hanging more but my friends were always interrumpted us. Leman was talking to me in Russian and then i went crazy. However i succeeded to finish one article, great performance considering the fact that i have been working on this article for two weaks.

OTM

Sometimes we all need have a rest. Me myself usually try to do as much work as I can,but even if u feel good and can continue your work, you also start to think about such lovely things as parties=D Do u think about it from time to time???

For example, since week 6 of this term, I started to think that I need a rest, I cought myself on a thought that I wanna party haaaard! I wanna chill, wanna dance, wanna relax. So I was waiting when I can have such opportunity and started to look for a right moment. A moment when the weather is nice, when everybody wanna the same as u just chill and when u don't need to do a lot for the next day. In other word I started to think about good, even not good, but amazing friday night, the one like in kattie's perry song: LAST FRIDAY NIGHT;))))))  But when such opportunity was found I suddenly got sick and can't even normally do my everyday rutine. To say that I was upset or angry is not enough. I was really really broken! I was thinking why when everybody goes party,I lay in my bed and there is no one to talk with.
Next day my friends call me and said that the night was a bit boring and that I didn't miss a lot! And what's more, they said that there is gonna be a new one last party in this term before exams next friday! So I still had a week to get better and prepare myself to go there. Iwas on the 7th sky! I was happy! I even felt that since that moment I have a motivation to get better! So I started to drink medicines and do all the stuff in order to feel good!

So next friday I took a shower ,did tones and tones of make up, wore my best fluoro blue short dress and went to my girlfriend's house. When they saw me they said I look amazing;))) however they weren't ready and made me to wait them for ages (actually for 3 hours),anyway eventually we all been ready. I want also to mentuion that one of my girlfriends were really sick, she looked bad and didn't even want to go in OTM. But we made her! Then everything got by a plan. Music on a high volume, several shots (actually I don't drik,but...), then when we all were a bit tipsy, we moved to OTM in car of my friend who is half thai and half english. She was tipsy enough to be relaxed and at the same time to dive a car.

When we came to OTM, all uni without exxageration was there. It was soo fun! We've benn dancing and talking, even made a lot of good photoes.
At that night otm worked until 4 am. And when supposingly by this time we all shoul be tired, all our company wanted an afterparty. One guy offered to move in his house but as u know the rumours go fast and 75 people went to this afterparty. Unfortunately it wasn't possible to let them all to come in, so he declined them and only 10 people eventually came in.
There was one guy who started to follow me in otm and then he even followed me in afterparty. I don't know him really,I just said hi to him sometimes when I met him. But he was too annoying that night. He didn;t understand when I asked him to leave me. He even seriously were begging that guy to let him in, that guy told him: dude I don't know u, go away, but he didn't stop.

And that how he came in and startdet staring at me with a weird face. He made me feel uncomfartable, that is why I can't dance, I was afraid of him. Then he wanted talk to me, but I strived to avoid him. In the end my friends made him to go away.

Then we danced. And I already was sober, but they thought I'm on extesy. May be I just dance crazy, but they said they jealous to me, because I can behave myself that way when I'm sober. Nice ending for the amazing night! wohoooo At 6 o'clock I was finally exhausted, but my sick girlfriend was shouting nooo staaaaay I wannna after partyyyyyy!!!!!!! And what's more next day we all had hangover, but she was totally ok! ridiculous=D

Development of personality (more stuff about me)

When I was 13 I went to sports club, when I was 14 I started to drink gin and tonik, when I was 15 started to smoke shisha, when I was 16 I started to smoke cigarettes and drink tequila, when I was 17  I started to drink whiskey, when I was 18 I started to drink vodka, when I was 19: I quit smoking (but not shisha), I quit drink alcohol cause it doesn't make me happy anymore but still can't begin to engage in sports (lazy). So now all my friend enjoy their youth like I did in high school and I just enjoy to comminicate with people (it is like a drug for me)

When I was 13 I studied in international school and studied math hard (because I hate math and needed to study it hard), when I was 14 I studied in international school and physics was my favourite subject (I had A+),when I was 15 I studied in international school and litreture was my favourite subject, when I was 16 I went to the best prezidential international school in country and it was very hard for me to study there because I started to do my Baccalaureate degree, when I was 17 I finished my Baccalaureate degree with  good marks, when I was 18 I graduated with excellent marks for all subjects and started my foundation degree in the UK , but I studied business and economics,so I failed it and in 19 years old I started to study Diploma business and economics, but I failed it  fortunately!!!!!! Cause today I am 20 and I study the most interesting subject in the world and do what I like cause journalism is what I always wanted and want to do)))))))

Karma is a b...h just make sure that bi..h is beautiful=D Lil' Wayne

First of all,do u believe in karma? Put ur hands up if u do)))
Cause I really believe in it. I'm not talking about religion at the moment. It's just a topic about Karma as a possibility. Well, I really respect ancient Indian manuskripts called the Vedas. If u ever heard about them and read it, u understand me. In Vedas says that everything what u didn't finish or did wrong toward the other people or hadn't work on it (means on your personal fetures) yet will come back to you this life or next life,in other words Karma. I think it does make sense.
I have a friend, and from one side I like her a lot, but from the other side she is annoyoing me! Can't explain, but some her features just do not fit in my head. But I like her. However, this does not prevent me from talking about her behind her back badly. I know I know it's bad,it is  very very bad, just cant contol it,cant stop myself! I've never done it before towards anyone, especially toward a friend. But she makes me bad! Do u understand? She is just a person who makes me bad! But I like her.
And yesterday I talked about her behind her back badly! I felt my self horrible but at the same time liked it and can't stop it! I regret but keep doing it! So today I woke up and my new computer is broken and I have a sore in my mouse. And remorse(( Karma!

My Reason To Visit London=D

Yesterday I went to London. And one of the main reasons for me to go there is Macaroons from Pierre Herme.

Oooh Pierre, your cakes drive me craaaaazy)))) If you don't know Pierre Herme and never tried his work of art - the heavenly macaroons, you lost a lot! Pierre Herme is a genius of confectionery craft.  Thanks to him, pastry cakes can now be safely regarded as an art form.

On arrival in London my friend and I first of all went to the store selfridges on the Oxford Street to eat macaroons. usually we take a box with seven different macaroons. They all vary by colours (red, orange, green, brown and e.t.c) and tastes (pistachio or rose petals flavored) Despite on ''strange'' names of flavors, the taste of it is amazing!  First time I am also treated with suspicion) But do not limit yourself, be open to the new, believe me it's worth it!

All the shops are built with a great taste and have a good service. Nice sellers help you to make a choice and carefully put your colourful macaroons in beautiful made boxes... <3

New Experince;)

Today I did my assignemt-a vox pop. The theme of the vox pop we should choose by ourselves,so I decided to ask people such question as: what effect the rise of petrol price had on you?? I needed to ask 6 people and it was not required but as far as possible to get their photos. I already wrote in my blog that I have a complex of shyness (funny: a shy journalist) , that is why the task like that is very diffult for me. But I like to communicate with people and have an active lifestyle, that is why I chose journalism. And I deremined for myself that my complex does not become an obstacle for me. I'm sure that many people have complexes. Simply, many people can't admit it even to themselves. And I consider it is good that I recognise it, so I can work on it and solve my problem.
And when today I went to do a vox pop in town, I was afraid but I wanted and decided that I'll do it anyway. At first it was hard, because people didn't want to answer and let alone the photos,do not even want to give their names! Then I suddenly understood all these peope are afraid of....I don't know of what (may be they think I can use information badly or something) but I clearly felt their fear. And after it I stopped shy and panic and liked it so much!!! With each new question was getting easier, I began to understand how to find an approach to people, how to talk and listen.  It even happened that I did 2 different vox pops))))) One about high  petrol price and another one about ellections;) cause I met my friends and they gave me an idea so I caught a moment) it was a great experience!

1st of May-Day of Unity nation in Kazakhstan.

Today is first of May!

It is a great day in history of Kazakhstan. On first of May all Kazakhs celebrate their unity. The holiday began celebrated in 1996. October 18, 1995, Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev signed a decree declaring May 1 a Unity Day of Peoples of Kazakhstan.

I as a reprsenter of Kazakh nation can say that on this day every year we don't work because it is a free day for all people, even students happily stay at home and don't attend their classes))) On 1st of May people in Kazakhstan are usually go to restaurants or receive their quests at home and celebrate celebrate celebrate)))))) what is really very funny, because in Russia 1st of May is a Labour Day and Spring festival. Unlike us Kazakhs on this day they work very hard!!!!

1st of May has a broader significance. It is celebrated in 141 countries. But in each country it gives a different meaning.

Despite I'm a kazakh, currently I'm a kazakg student in the UK. And today we don't have holiday. On the contrary we should study hard, so it more looks like a Labour Day in Russia!=D

Enigma of Toulouse Lautrec

I always liked art, but as once said one of the characters works of Oscar Wilde: "I am not the creator of art, but only a lover." It seems to me a striking fact, how some artists, conveying the beauty of even the sometimes ugly things, can thus give the viewer a hint of mystery in their creation.
I think the French artist Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec  was one of such masters. One of his favorite paintings for me is-"Dance at the Moulin Rouge" This picture Toulouse-Lautrec painted in 1890 in Montmartre, France. At the first glance for those who are not fond of the art, this painting may seem not so unusual. On the contrary, just an ordinary picture which depicts a moment of life at the Moulin Rouge. Yes you right, at the first time watching this painting you can see only a lot of men in suitable to that time costumes and a several women on the first sight. Some of these people are dancing and some are busy with something else. So the only popular first question, which always ask viewers is-Who is this women in pink dress? What is very logical, because she stays there alone without companion and her face is sad despite the fact that so many people around her have fun. However, if to look deeper, at the far end of the hall, in the midst of people, we finally notice, something or better to say "somebody" that is not subject to common sense.A man with a skull instead of face. It seems like a man with a skull peering into the crowd, trying to find something or somebody that could take his attention. The artist seems on purpose painted him in a grey color costume in order to distinguish him from the crowd of same wearing people and give us chance to see him. Therefore the main our question and at the same time Toulouse-Lautrec's secret is-Why he has a skull instead of face and who is he? It is my favorite picture because every time I find something new for myself. Every time it seems to me that the artist wanted to tell us people something important. Something what he understood and want to share with us.   Well my theory is may be mater wanted to tell us his thoughts through his craft? May be he wanted to convey us his idea that this actually how he saw as an artist those who burn their life by visiting parties and those whose main aim is to pursue the entertainment? Because this man's cloth is a bit old fashioned compare to others, even his hat is old. When I look at him so shabby and faded it seems like he spent his life in this way and used to it. Nobody notice him, nobody doesn't care about him. But he still cares and looking for something that can make him happy. Unfortunately was looking for it in wrong place. Anyway it is just my theory of what happens on the picture, just a conjecture.
This question we already can't answer exactly. Because the great artist gave us only an opportunity to quess...

And was built during Khmer empire, the one of the most powerful empires in Southeast  Asia. People there spoke in Sanskrit language. Have you seen Tomb Raider movie with Angelina Jolie? In this film she is in the city of Angkor. Amazing! It inspired me to wish visit this terrific for its reach history place.

Films for logic or mind games.

All these films belong to the mystical and psychological  types of thriller. Watching these films the viewer always stays in tension. It forces audience to seek the truth. This type of movies is my favourite so I recommend you to watch somehow.

1.From hell (2001)-Another version of whom was Jack the Ripper. However this version is better because of amazing Johnny Depp))))))

2.Shutter Island (2010)- I don't need to say anything because Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio say for themselves!

3.The Mothman prophecies (on a true stories)-I want to pay special attention to this film because it is based on a true story. And the story is...
On Nov. 15, 1966, two young couples from Point Pleasant, Roger and Linda Scarberry, and Steve and Mary Mallette told police they saw a large white creature whose eyes "glowed red" when the car headlights picked it up. They described it as a "flying man with ten foot wings" following their car while they were driving in an area of town known as 'the TNT area', the site of a former World War II munitions plant. During the next few days, other people reported similar sightings. Two volunteer firemen who sighted it said it was a "large bird with red eyes". Mason County Sheriff George Johnson commented that he believed the sightings were due to an unusually large heron he termed a "shitepoke". Contractor Newell Partridge told Johnson that when he aimed a flashlight at a creature in a nearby field its eyes glowed "like bicycle reflectors", and blamed buzzing noises from his television set and the disappearance of his German Shepherd dog on the creature.Wildlife biologist Dr. Robert L. Smith at West Virginia University told reporters that descriptions and sightings all fit the Sandhill Crane, a large American crane almost as high as a man with a seven foot wingspan featuring circles of reddish coloring around the eyes, and that the bird may have wandered out of its migration route. There were no Mothman reports in the immediate aftermath of the December 15, 1967 collapse of the Silver Bridge and the death of 46 people, giving rise to legends that the Mothman sightings and the bridge collapse were connected. (you can check this information in Google-Wikipedia))))))))))
    4. Wicker Park (2004)-I have no word- Amazing!

5. Number 23 (2007)-Only Jim Carrey can portray so true paranoia.

6. I know what you did last summer (1997)- Classics of the genre is already- must see for all teenagers.

7. Basic Instinct (1992)- I think this movie is the proof of the fact that the mysterious woman in our time can be dangerous))))))))))
8. Basic Instinct 2 (2006)- no worse than the 1st part.

9.Hard Candy (2006)-ridiculous and terrifying- all in one

10. Cruel Intentions (1999)- Again, must see for all teenagers and young people. I think this film is useful to watch to those one,  who do not have enough cunning.

The Mystery of Middle East. Part 2

Often people can't exactly say how look like people from Kazakhstan. Some might say:they look like arabic and some say: they look like chinese. Thats true appearance of kazaks is different. I also often here that I look like chinese but something in my facial features, accent and behaviour is different and people can't get it) Well the reason is in our hisorical origin. On the territory of Kazakhstan the most ancient nations were: Saks, Usuns, Canli, and Hun, who are well known in Europe as Turks. They lived there during the period from 8th century before our era and 5th century of our era. It is known that they were of Caucasoid type (Europeoid type) with blond or ginger hair and green, blue or grey eyes. Then the invasions of Arabs and Mongols influenced their phisical appearence. Today kazakh people look different, you can see people with white skin and dark skin, with ginger hair and black hair and e.t.c It seems like a great mix of cultures, values, traditions, beliefs and knowledges)

The Mystery of the Middle East. Part 1

I've always been inspired by all that is connected to the east.

Yesterday I looked for the second time the film Alexander in 2004 which tells the story of Alexander the Great. I liked how the director managed to convey the culture and life of ancient oriental tribes.

I also noticed that people in Western countries have no clear ideaabout the culture of my country. Therefore, I as a man who was born and grew up in a place where East meets West-Kazakhstan has decided to share my world with you.

First of all Kazakhstan situated exactly in the middle between the West and East. It is the 9th largest country in the World. And borders with Russia, China, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. As you can notice all our neighbors are ethnicity different. Such location on the map allows Kazakhstan to be cross-cultural and culture of our neighbors strongly influence ours. For example the fact that it is a multinational state makes it possible to speak on two languages equally: Kazakh ( official language) and Russian ( because Kazakhstan was part of the soviet Union for a long time). Also it is multinational cause apart from kazakh there live such nationalities as russians, turks, chinese, korean, germans,  uzbeks, kyrgyz and jews. Our Eastern philosophy teaches us to be hospitable and peaceful, so we are happy to accept another culture.

Our history has played an important role in the drafting of our culture. The conquests of the Arabs and the Mongols influenced our appearance, language, religion, traditions and art.
Strolling through the streets of our cities you can notice one pattern everywhere: half of the buildings constructed in western style while another half in eastern style. Restaurants in Arabic style are close to business centers built on the western model

Kazakhstan is a Muslim country but not so strict as other arabic muslim countries. For instance, we deeply respect and accept muslim philosophy, but our western impact makes us more loyal in this issue. We have the right to perform Salaat at will (prayer 5 times in a day) and kazakh women don't must to wear hijab. However, they should cover their heads in mosques and other holly places.

The food in Kazakhstan varies from traditional Kazakh cuisine to different types of cuisines like russian is very popular, uzbek, kyrgyz, turkish, arabic, chinese, italian, fast food. In other words everything.

At schools pupils study a lot of subjects (approximately 20 subjects each year) for 11 years. Another reason to like Kazakhstan are holidays!!!! We have more holidays than others because we celebrate muslim holidays, western holidays and eastern holidays.
